# FACTION WARS

**Overview**

Faction Wars is a competitive, gamified experience inside the $HONEY ecosystem where NFT ownership, community participation, and faction loyalty fuel a year-long battle across **8 seasons lasting 45 days each**.

Players unite under one of eight legendary factions from the **Honey Badger NFT Collection**, earning Faction Points (FP) through both **active engagement** and **idle ownership mechanics**.

**Purpose**

Faction Wars serves three objectives:

1. **Expand NFT utility** through identity, progression, and gameplay.
2. **Strengthen community cohesion** through faction-based competition.
3. **Support $HONEY token circulation** with a reward-driven participation model.

**Player Alignment**

Players may join **any faction unlocked through their NFTs**, but alignment shapes faction identity and competitive depth.

Players who join the faction in which they hold the **most Honey Badger NFTs** receive a **weekly FP bonus**.

Legendary NFT holders automatically serve as **Faction Leaders**, influencing faction activity and contributing to leadership-based FP bonuses.

**Badger Hole Activity**

Players earn FP for interacting within **The Badger Hole** to maintain community safety by reporting suspicious behavior or malicious actors using their **Faction Identifier**.

**X/TG Raids**&#x20;

Players earn FP by participating in social raids across X or Telegram using faction identifiers, strengthening faction visibility and engagement.

**Conviction Level**

Players earn FP when their NFT demonstrates strong conviction:

* NFT **not listed for sale**,\
  **or**
* NFT **listed above the daily floor target** for their faction.

This strengthens floor integrity and encourages healthy market behavior.

**Idle Bonus (NFT Weighting Daily)**&#x20;

Passive FP awarded to the faction member holding the **largest NFT count** in their faction.

**Alignment Bonus (Weekly)**

Weekly FP awarded for joining the player’s **Favored Faction** (where they hold the most NFTs).

**Legendary Bonus**

Legendary holders earn additional FP when their faction has **20+ active participants**, reinforcing leadership responsibility and faction unity.

**Seasonal Structure**

Each season lasts **45 days** and includes:

**Phase 1 — Engagement Surge**

* Faction kickoffs
* Lore drops
* FP acceleration events

**Phase 2 — Core Competition**

* Full FP generation
* Mid-season raids
* XP boosts and mini-events

**Phase 3 — Endgame Push**

* Final raids
* Leaderboard locking
* Snapshot and scoring

Season ends with rewards, badges, and lore progression.
